Christmas time

Its almost the end of December and Christmas is just around the corner. It is difficult not to get swept up by all the busyness but I usually manage to find time to enjoy the little details of Christmas....watching old Christmas films, listening to carols while I write my cards and wrap presents and decorating my home - not too much, but with just some understated decorations. Being prone to making things, I could not resist making some decorations of my own......

These have been so lovely to make and like all my work: no two are exactly the same, and they let light shine through! They are currently on sale at MyTime cafe in Palmer's Green in north London, a delightful place to have a quiet cuppa, a tasty lunch or a relaxing cocktail in the evening.

So I hope that you too can find some quiet moments amongst the hustle and bustle of all the festive preparations..... and enjoy!
